LOVE DIVINE at CÉ LA VI
2023 has been an exciting year at CÉ LA VI Singapore so far as we expand our horizons from our first ever fashion show with powerhouse label Thom Browne and now with the Singapore International Arts Festival (SIFA) for an unparalleled collaboration of party-meets-art, featuring artist STILL LIVES and CHILDREN OF VENUS.
CÉ LA VI and SIFA presents to you LOVE DIVINE.
STILL LIVES at CÉ LA VI
Suspending over the sunset of the beautiful Singapore city skyline, fine arts visionaries Daniel Kok & Luke George of “STILL LIVES” will be showcasing their rope-work craft that they had refined over their years of experience.
Pushing the boundaries and showcasing their philosophy on materialism, STILL LIVES will be gradually binding influential figure, Nathan Hartono & Grace Kee with their possession atop the iconic roof of Marina Bay Sands at CÉ LA VI Singapore Club Lounge. Challenging and imploring reflection on our relationship with possessions.
CHILDREN OF VENUS at CÉ LA VI
Ushering in the night party will be CHILDREN OF VENUS (Burlesque performers), curated and directed by the one and only SUKKI, who has gained international recognition from NETFLIX series, Singapore Social, as well as figures such as Bill Gates, Cherie Blair and Desmond Tuttu.
SUKKI’s relentless passion and mission of defiant solidarity and freedom of expression, eventually brought her to the Buckingham Palace for tea as the world’s first burlesque performer, and now finally towards CÉ LA VI Singapore as the director of CHILDREN OF VENUS.
Sassy, sensual and seductive will be the theme for the night, get ready for a journey of hypnotic and explosive performance by the CHILDREN OF VENUS. Featuring the queens of Burlesque: Becca D’Bus, Francesca Harriman and Lychee Bye, alongside the Glamourettes and Aerialist Adeline Chua, the CHILDREN OF VENUS will be encapsulating SUKKI’s passion under her direction above the rooftop of Marina Bay Sands at CÉ LA VI Singapore.
CULINARY ARTS
With a natural instinct and passion for experimentation, CÉ LA VI Singapore’s very own executive chef Maksym Chukanov culinary will be presenting with his experimental twist on the classic Brioche.
