On Friday 28 October, CÉ LA VI doors will swing open for our 3rd edition of Slassy - Halloween edition with collective performances by boundary-pushing local drag queens and international DJ act - THE ILLUSTRIOUS BLACKS. Known for their disco-infused cosmic pop and futuristic funk sets, the acclaimed duo celebrates Black queerness, and powerful self-expression while channeling the androgynous glamour of Prince, David Bowie, and Grace Jones.

Expect camp drag theatricality, fully loaded lip-syncs, and all-night Sasha Velour realness. Here, we welcome all drag kings, queens, creatures of the night, and gender non-conformers.

Co­-pilots on their artistic voyage, the powerhouse couple have been featured at packed venues such as Central Park Summerstage (NYC), Output (NYC), Le Poisson Rouge (NYC), Performance Space New York (NYC), Brooklyn Bowl (NYC), C’mon Everybody (NYC) & Afterglow Festival (Mass).
