Humble beginnings in his backyard where studio equipment and DJ decks met desiccated plants was the birthplace of Mat.Joe’s signature fusion of rhythmic soul and hip-hop house. His distinct sound catapulted him to success- from collaborations with electronic music superstar Diplo to gracing iconic venues such as The Lab NYC.
